Privacy policy

In short

Hakoleh (hakoleh.com) is a meal-planning and fitness app. We keep only the data needed to run your account, we do not sell your data, and we show no ads. You can ask us to delete your account and everything in it at any time.

What we collect

• Account: your name, email address and a hashed password. If you sign in with Google we receive only your name, email and profile picture from Google.
• Health profile: what you enter during setup: sex, birth year, height, weight, activity level, goal, allergies, food preferences and your food budget.
• Your logs: meals, weight, measurements, workouts, pantry, shopping lists and spending that you record yourself.
• Photos: progress photos and product-label photos you upload. They live in private storage and nobody else sees them unless you turn that on in your public profile.
• Technical: cookies for your session, language and theme, plus basic server logs (address and time of request) kept briefly to protect the service.

How we use it

• To compute your nutrition targets and suggest meals, shopping lists and workouts.
• AI features: when you use the coach or read a product label, your question or photo is sent to Anthropic together with the context needed to answer (such as your targets and pantry). Your data is not used to train their models.
• We send no marketing email and share nothing with advertisers.

Where data is stored

The service runs on Cloudflare (database and storage), so data may be stored in data centres outside Egypt. Access is protected by encryption in transit and strict access controls.

Public sharing

Everything is private by default. Your public profile and share cards are published only when you turn them on, and you choose which sections show. Photos are never published without your explicit opt-in.

Your rights

You can edit your data inside the app at any time. To request a copy of your data or delete your account entirely, email sherif.abdelbasettt@gmail.com from the address on the account and we will complete the request within 30 days.

Children

The service is intended for people aged 16 and over. If we learn that a child has created an account we will delete it.

Changes

When this policy changes we update the "last updated" date at the top of the page, and for material changes we tell you inside the app.
